My name is Matt Zagrodzky ’89. I am the Membership Chairperson for the Club. I wanted to talk to you about your Club, why it is important to become a dues paying member, and what we are doing with the dues you pay each year.
Dues for the Club are only $20 for an individual membership and $25 for a family membership. Memberships are good for a year. For the most part, your dues help defer the cost for Muster, pays for printing costs, helps us to maintain our mailing lists, and goes toward other miscellaneous expenses required to run the Club. We have football watch parties, we support the LSU Crawfish Boil, an SEC Chili Cookoff, and numerous Happy Hours around the city. We also contribute to the Club scholarship fund annually. In addition, we are working on food and beverage discounts for watch parties and events when you show your membership card.
Honestly… you can still attend the Football Watch Parties, the Chili Cookoff, Muster, everything… without being a paying member. But what you lose is the sense that you are doing your part to help your Club. You lose a little bit of that feeling of community. You lose out on the opportunity to give back just a little. So please join us and come out and have a great time with your fellow Aggies!
The printable membership form is available here. Members can also list their businesses and services in the Aggie Network area. An email distribution list is also maintained to update and inform members on club activities and your name will be included on it when you join. If you have any questions about membership, please contact us at email@example.com.”
